I left my job in 2009 after working for 7 yrs. now I want to join back, how?

I was working from 2002 to 2009 and lastly employed with one of the renowned pvt. bank in customer relations, was posted in a Town in Chattisgarh . My father is doing business. During 2009 because of some family problem I left my job and came back to my home city kolkata. Before and after coming back I was searching for jobs. But that time the market was reviving from the financial crisis and even having all the relevant document (Formal release letter) I could not got any opportunity . I thought seating idle will be a bad idea rather I joined my father's business.Now as the market has revived I am looking forward for openings.
